Over 3000 signaling proteins known already

A very interesting notice from "The Signaling Gateway", now launched:

Signaling Update will now form part of the Signaling Gateway,  a new one-stop free resource for cell signaling research, based on a collaboration between the Alliance for Cellular Signaling (AfCS) and Nature Publishing Group.

The Signaling Gateway also features Molecule Pages, an up to the minute database of key information on a comprehensive set of well over 3,000 cell signaling proteins. The current data set includes information collated from numerous online resources and is continually updated.  Over the coming months, this will be supplemented with peer-reviewed information entered by specially invited expert authors.
